[10:29pm] ibid: the intent is that verify is true in that template if sending (other) messages to the user is disabled due to the address not being verified
[10:30pm] ibid: i wonder if it should be changed so that the confirmation is not sent at all in that case, just a repeat of the verification mail (which has always been done)
[10:30pm] ibid: and then upon verification a list of all subscriptions is sent along with a note that the user will be getting their posts
